Project Aims
The aims of the project at the higher education are to promote the intercultural understanding, teaching and learning and to create new models to integrate well-educated migrants to the teaching activities. It will also improve the self-esteem of immigrant students by giving them role-models of highly-educated migrants. The project will make visible and better employ the capacity of the highly-educated migrants. It will establish an European wide network organizing the migrant NGOs and higher education institutes to work together. During the project, workshops organized together by the higher education institutions and migrant NGOs will be piloted. The topics of the workshops or short courses are for example gender issues, equality and discrimination as well as social and cultural sustainability.
